Brief: A requirement for a Lead Digital Designer role for Syndica (a Web3 developer infrastructure) asked candidates to submit a sample "Cover Photo" redesign for their blog posts.
Process: I started by familiarizing myself with the brand itself, a long with the taxonomy of the articles and began to rough out a more creative direction, one that was inspired by old technology branding/marketing, that felt grounded vs. most Visual Design in the Web3 space.
Result: A design system for posts, built in Figma with auto-layout for rapid creation of assets.
